Do judges, crew or parents have to install anything?
No. Every part of CheerDeck runs in a web browser. On a tablet or phone you can "Add to Home Screen" so it opens full-screen, and judging keeps working offline once the device has been prepared the day before.
What does it cost clubs?
Nothing. Clubs, judges and spectators use CheerDeck free. Producers pay for their events; prices are being finalised with our founding producer.
Who can see our athletes’ details?
Your club controls its roster. When you enter an event, only what the entry needs (names, dates of birth for age checks, consents) is shared with that producer. Public pages and producer websites show team and club names only — never athletes.
Where is the data kept?
In the UK (London) region of our database provider, with encrypted nightly backups kept for 30 days. Our privacy notice explains how we use every provider.
Can we use our own web address?
Yes. Every producer gets yourname.cheerdeck.co.uk, and can add a subdomain of its own site such as live.yourdomain.co.uk.
What happens if the internet drops at the venue?
Judging, the stage manager, check-in and the sound desk keep working from the device and sync when the connection returns. Public pages keep the last results with a "Last updated" time.
